Power Equipment RFQ Checklist for Wholesale Buyers
The product, quantity, market, electrical, OEM, packing, and delivery details that make a wholesale power-equipment quotation usable.

Start with the buying decision
A useful RFQ identifies what the buyer plans to purchase, where it will be sold or installed, and which details can change the product version. A request for “best price” without those inputs normally produces assumptions rather than a comparable quote.
Include the product family, target model or performance range, estimated quantity, destination country and delivery city. If the order is a trial, state the expected volume after approval so sample and production options can be separated.
Define the electrical version
For inverters and power stations, identify AC voltage, frequency, phase, socket or plug standard, and the intended application. For storage batteries, include system voltage, required capacity, charge and discharge limits, mounting format, and communication needs.
- List continuous and starting loads when product selection is required.
- Provide PV string details for solar-inverter matching.
- Name the inverter or protocol when requesting a compatible battery.
Describe the OEM scope
Separate product branding from packaging work. State whether you need a logo, model name, rating label, housing color, interface language, printed carton, manual, barcode, shipping marks, or a complete private-label family.
Attach usable logo files and existing brand rules when available. The supplier can then identify which items require artwork, tooling, samples, or a model-specific MOQ.
Ask for commercial terms in one place
Request unit-price basis, currency, MOQ, sample terms, payment stages, production window, Incoterm, origin point, packing details, warranty scope, and quotation validity. These values should be stated in the written quote rather than inferred from a general website page.
A complete RFQ shortens the path to a quote that purchasing, technical, and logistics teams can review together.
